At the beginning of the year, we talked regarding a job vacancy that Apple had opened for the Apple TV+ in Europe, with the aim of expanding the service’s presence in the Old Continent. Now, the company is back with another opportunity of the kind, but, this time, in land Brazilian!
On the air since July 24th, the vacancy in question search one video business leader (Video Lead) for the Apple TV+ and the apple tv channels. According to the position description, this person needs to be experienced and have an “extensive media business background” and a “detailed understanding of the content, partner and market landscape.”
One of the duties of the role will be to introduce consumers to the most relevant movies and TV shows that are available both via subscription and purchase/rental. Another task is expanding Apple’s business relationships, as well as setting the tone and branding of the company for all its video initiatives in Brazil.
Naturally, the vacancy also requires the candidate to live in the city of São Paulo, be willing to travel internationally regularly and have a command of both Portuguese and English. Other languages will only be considered as a “plus”.
