(US stock code: AAPL) Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Devices, the world’s largest company in terms of market value, have recently released preview versions of their apps on the Microsoft App Store. According to MacRumors, the words “Reality OS” and “xrOS” appear in the code of Apple Devices. Well-known Apple reporter Mark Gurman revealed that Apple has internally named the operating system of the MR device xrOS, which was previously called Reality OS. In addition, Apple rolled out new features for its maps app, Apple Maps, that allow businesses to manage the information displayed regarding them in the app and encourage users to use the app for functions other than navigation.
On the other hand, Apple is preparing to expand the dynamic island pill-shaped cutout from the iPhone 14 Pro series to all iPhone 15 models, including the non-Pro version of the iPhone 15/15 Plus. The report pointed out that Apple has placed orders with parts suppliers including Samsung Display, and Samsung Display has instead ordered etching equipment worth 24.1 billion won from South Korean company Philoptics for the production of dynamic island display screens.
Apple’s stock price closed down 8 cents or 0.6% to $133.41 on Thursday, with a turnover of $9.49 billion, losing only to Tesla following the US stock market.
