Apple lost $1 trillion in market capitalization in one year

The first trading session of the year saw the apple firm come down from its pedestal: it was the last company to post a valuation of 2 trillion dollars following the decline of Microsoft and Saudi Aramco in 2022. now has no company worth more than $2 trillion, but Apple remains the largest, followed by Microsoft at $1.8 trillion. A year to the day following crossing the $3 trillion threshold, Apple fell more than 4% on January 3, 2023, closing at its lowest level since June 2021.
