Apple may soon release a new version of the USB-C adapter with a marked improvement, as a support document posted on Apple’s website revealed that the company is working on a new 35-inch dual USB-C power adapter.
Apple USB-C Adapter Details
It is not clear when you plan to release this adapter as this charger will be Apple’s first dual charger, and the company has reportedly spotted this adapter by mistake.
The document was quickly removed following it was published. The 35W of power would be enough to charge several iPhones, iPhones, Apple Watches, or a host of other accessories.
For example, the iPhone 13 Pro Max can fast charge up to 27W, which means that the dual USB-C adapter can quickly charge the iPhone 13 Pro Max as well as charge the Apple Watch. 7 is also capable of fast charging with any USB-C wall socket that delivers 5 watts of power.
Again, it’s not clear when (or if) Apple plans to release this accessory, as previous reports have said that Apple is looking to expand its line of power adapters, particularly with GaN technology.
The 35W dual USB-C power adapter might be Apple’s first standalone GaN charger at launch, although Apple didn’t mention GaN technology in the support document.

Digitimes reported last year that Apple was developing new GaN chargers with USB-C connectivity. Many companies make GaN chargers that are smaller and faster than the USB-C chargers that Apple included with its MacBook range and sold separately for their iPhones.
Adopting GaN technology can help Apple simplify and make its charging lineup more versatile with dual-port designs, faster performance, and more. GaN chargers are usually smaller than non-GaN chargers.
