Apple is testing iOS 18.0.1 with several bug fixes

Apple is currently engaged in internal testing of iOS 18.0.1an update that, according to internal analytics data from MacRumorscould be released soon. This type of verification, based on traces in access statistics, has already allowed the site in the past to accurately predict different versions of iOS before their official announcement.

The update to iOS 18.0.1 appears to be incremental, focusing primarily on problem solving rather than new features. Among the bugs Apple may address with this update are some touchscreen bugs, which affected the iPhone 16 series and some older models. It is also expected to address a bug in iMessage, where sharing an Apple Watch face causes the app to repeatedly crash. Another issue concerns iPadOS 18, which caused some iPad Pro units with the M4 chip to brick.
