Apple In the eyes of many Apple fans, the television is one of the most useless products in Apple’s portfolio. I do not entirely agree with this idea, since this product has been part of our household for many years, just as we taught my parents to “use it”, but on the other hand, I critically admit that the usability of Apple The TV itself is quite poor. After all, aside from watching streaming services or IPTV and easily accessing photos, Apple TV isn’t really suitable for doing much. Sure, there are various games, but honestly they’re not worth much even if you subscribe to Apple Arcade. And at the same time it would cost so little from Apple to get Apple A completely new dimension of television that would also be extremely interesting for me. This way I have to look for another solution.

Even though the days when I played video games quite actively on the computer and games console are long gone, when I have some free time and don’t really have to do anything at home or in the garden, I like to sit down with my Xbox and refresh some games. Lately it’s mainly Call of Duty: Warzone that we play in the evenings with Roman from LsA and two other friends. But I also like playing single player games like Metro, Assassin’s Creed, Kingdom Come or Mafia. Sometimes it annoys me even more that there are some interesting single player games like The Last of Us, God of War, Ghost of Tsusima or Death Stranding exclusive to PlayStation and I can’t play them on Xbox. Buying a classic PC is then completely unnecessary for me. What annoys me even more is that the latter game is available on iPhones and Macs, so Apple is optimized for it both hardware and software, but on Apple The TV has been completely forgotten. At the same time, your support here would be very useful.
It would actually be enough for Apple to include Apple TV more powerful processor along with RAM memory and, if necessary, return active cooling. Running AAA games available for iPhones and iPads would then be almost 100% non-issue since tvOS is actually just a redesigned iOS. Thanks to this upgrade we were then able to use Apple TVs to play high quality games almost like on a console. It’s possible to connect a game controller to it sometime on Friday, and we’d definitely forgive it for worse graphics. In terms of dimensions, it is a device that is completely incomparable to Xboxes or PlayStations. Play on Apple In addition, the world would of course perceive the television as another way to use this TV smart box and not as the main argument for purchasing it.
It’s hard to say why Apple still prevents something similar, even if there are already some AAA titles for iPhones, iPads and Macs. Perhaps this is partly due to its fear that game developers will not be too involved in adding their titles to its software platforms, simply because they do not want to pay a 30% commission on the sale of the game. On the other hand, they could also bring their games to many other households this way, which would definitely be interesting. And the idea that I send the child on vacation to his grandmother and only put his game controller in the backpack, with the fact that the child then connects it to the Apple TV to go and play his favorite console game there in his free time, is not bad at all for me.
However, until then (and if at all) we will have to rely on the current solution, namely mirroring the game from the iPhone to Apple TV, which, however, heats up the phone significantly and is therefore a longer-term problem, or playing on a classic games console or one Computer. Of course, game streaming services can also be an interesting option, which I would also like to try out in the near future in order to gain clarity about their current (un)usability, perhaps just for my own purposes.
