On June 8, Apple’s iOS 16 Photos app added a new editing feature that allows users to edit one photo and paste its steps onto another. This is useful if the user needs to edit multiple similar photos.
Users can apply edits to an image, then tap the three-dot icon in the upper right corner, and tap Copy Edit. Then, open another photo, tap the same three-dot icon, and select Paste Edit, and the second image will get exactly the same adjustments.
In addition, Apple has made other improvements to the Photos app. There’s an option to undo and redo edits, so users don’t need to discard all changes if something goes wrong with edits, and there’s an option to sort the people album alphabetically. All of these new features are available in iOS 16, iPadOS 16 and macOS 13 Ventura.
