Apple Intelligence Will Be a Key Part of iPhone 16 Advertising

According to Mark Gurman, Apple is planning an unusual approach to the launch of the iPhone 16. Specifically, the company will organize mandatory meetings for all Apple Store employees after the event scheduled for September 10.

Here’s what we know

Meetings will likely be held on the evening of September 12 or the morning of September 13, instead of the usual Sunday meetings.

Gourmet also reports that Apple has begun training in-store employees on the new Apple Intelligence feature, which will be a major part of the iPhone 16 in-store advertising campaign.

Despite expectations that Apple Intelligence would be coming with the iPhone 16, its official launch has been delayed until October, when iOS 18.1 will be released. However, features like writing tools, notification summaries, and a new Siri interface will be available at that time. More advanced features, including Image Playground, Genmoji, and ChatGPT integration, will only be available with iOS 18.2 or later.

Analysts believe that the new AI features could boost iPhone 16 sales by up to 10 million units. This explains why Apple is so actively promoting these features in its stores.
