Apple has introduced a completely redesigned CarPlay. It replaces the dashboard and car control buttons

Apple showed a new CarPlay, which became part of iOS 16.

The new version of CarPlay will include support for controlling all vehicle systems, dashboard and all screens.

The driver will be able to adjust through CarPlay climate control, heated seats, as well as track all the necessary information regarding the car, including fuel in the tank, speed, coolant temperature and rpm.

CarPlay will support multiple screens and will be able to adjust to different sizes. Users will be able to change the design of CarPlay by selecting pre-installed themes.

In addition, widgets will appear in CarPlay, which will be shown right during the trip.

The updated CarPlay will only be available on new vehicles from certain manufacturers, as it requires powerful hardware.
