Apple is used to creating everything from A to Z, and this was not the case in these computers, with Intel in the legs. Now, the power is increased tenfold and even with an Air, we can navigate quickly and even do some photo and video editing.
The advantage of this model is that it doubles the RAM, going from 8 to 16 GB. Apple knows how to manage RAM well but it is always more comfortable to go to 16 GB, especially if you plan to use many applications at the same time, but also to continue to do so a little longer than with 8 GB.
Autonomy also benefits from the optimization of the M1 processor, and improves greatly, to easily last a whole day in long use.
