About 20 years ago, Apple introduced the first iPod, a digital music player that revolutionized the world. Arguably, the iPod was the gadget that saved Apple and made it a popular and desired brand.
During this time, its design has varied from the click wheel to the touch screen and new models have appeared such as the nano, the mini or the shuffle. We have a great video on YouTube going over all the models with their quirks.
The iPod managed to turn the chaotic world of digital music upside down and do business. And although for many the iPod was invented by Steve Jobs, the truth is that he only gave the OK to Tony Fadell’s project, who can be considered the true father of the iPod. The rest is history… with a lot of marketing involved.
But now, following so many years of service, the end has come. Apple has announced that it will no longer make iPods, which means that the iPod saga is dead. You can only buy the 7th generation iPod touch while stocks last… or you can also search for a second-hand one on Wallapop. Let’s say one last goodbye to the gadget that has meant everything to Apple.
