After being duly approved by Anatel, Apple today opened the period of pre-sale of iPhones 16 here in Brazil. Shortly after being introduced, including the MacMagazine announced this date first hand.
Sales of the devices, as usual, will begin in September 27th (next Friday). This is the second consecutive year that Brazil has received the new iPhones one week after their launch in the United States.

iPhones 16 e 16 Plus
Os iPhones 16 e 16 Plus have as new features the A18 chip, the Action button and the Camera Control. In addition, they have a focus on artificial intelligence, a design with a vertical camera module and improvements to the chassis with Ceramic Shield more resistant.
Both have Super Retina XDR displays — 6.1 inches (normal) and 6.7″ (Plus) — with brightness of up to 2,000 nits and a 60Hz refresh rate. They maintain the camera system with a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens and 12MP ultra-wide lens, now with support for macro photos/videos and spatial image capture compatible with Apple Vision Pro.
The A18 chip has a 6-core CPU 1 and a 5-core GPU 2, bringing up to 30% better performance than the A16 Bionic, in addition to supporting AAA games and Wi-Fi 7. Prices in Brazil start at R$7,8 mil for iPhone 16 and R$9,5 mil for iPhone 16 Plus.

iPhones 16 Pro e 16 Pro Max
Already the iPhones 16 Pro e 16 Pro Max feature larger screens — now 6.3″ and 6.9″, respectively — thinner bezels and a new titanium-desert color.
Both feature the A18 Pro chip, which offers improved performance in artificial intelligence, graphics and energy efficiency, as well as the new Camera Control for easier capture of photos and videos.
The wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle cameras have been improved, with 48MP lenses, including a new (still 12MP) tetraprism lens on the Pro model for up to 5x optical zoom. The devices can record 4K video at 120 frames per second and support Wi-Fi 7.
Storage options start at 128GB (less on the iPhone 16 Pro Max), 256GB, 512GB and go up to 1TB. Here in Brazil, the models have prices starting from R$10,5 mil for iPhone 16 Pro and R$12,5 mil for the 16 Pro Max.

The country’s main retail stores, such as iPlace, Fast Shop, Pontofrio, Bahia Houses, Extra, Magalu e Free Marketamong others, also started pre-sales of the new iPhones today. All of them usually offer a 10% discount on the prices for cash payments.
