Reports indicate that the iPhone 14 Pro will revive the classic battery percentage indicator (the indicator that contains the percentage and battery level icon side by side), according to a mockup of the device’s interface.

This means that Pro users of the upcoming series may not get caught up in the hideous, and sometimes illegible, indicator Apple revealed in the iOS 16 beta, which shows the percentage inside the battery icon.

But the current version of the indicator on newer devices from the company takes the form of a battery icon (without a percentage) and shows a visual representation of how much power is left on your phone, according to the technical website The Verge.

The company made this change in the battery icon for the first time in the iPhone X due to the lack of space due to the notch in the screen, which forces you to scroll down to the Control Center to see the exact percentage.

But since the next iPhone 14 Pro will come with a notch design change and two separate slots that will form one unified disc shape when the screen is turned on, this should allow enough space to include both the battery and percentage icon.

Apple can also take advantage of the iPhone 14 Pro’s additional screen by shifting the cellular service icon to the left side of the screen when the phone is locked, adding the notification center and battery indicator to the right.

And the “Mac Roomers” website talked about the always-on display feature and how it will look in future phones. It is claimed that users will be able to fully customize the appearance of the screen when their devices are locked, allowing them to set the tint of the wallpaper (while the rest remains dark), so that only part of the image appears through it.

Widgets will also appear on the always-on display, but will subtly fade in and out to help prevent OLED burn-in. Any notifications will appear at the bottom of the screen with Always On Display enabled before they disappear after about 10 seconds.

The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are rumored to get the bulk of the upgrades that Apple will likely use to justify the $100 price hike.

It is noteworthy that Apple will hold its most prominent annual conference of the year under the name Far Out, and it will be on September 7, in which the new iPhone 14 series will be revealed, in addition to many other electronic devices.
