At WWDC 2023, Apple introduced its new 15-inch MacBook Air with an Apple M2 chip.
As expected, Apple organized its WWDC 2023 conference on Monday April 5. The opportunity for the American manufacturer to unveil several new features, starting with a new laptop, the 15-inch MacBook Air.
If the MacBook Air range is especially popular for its compactness and lightness of laptops, Apple did not hesitate to unveil a compact PC, but with a much larger display diagonal.
The new 15-inch MacBook Air is thus equipped with a 15.3-inch diagonal screen capable of going up to a brightness of 500 cd / m² and with a definition ” retina “. The 15-inch MacBook Air also features the latest generation Apple M2 chip with up to 24GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. On the battery side, Apple indicates that its laptop will be able to operate with up to 18 hours of battery life.
A particularly thin laptop
In terms of ergonomics, we note a particularly thin design, with a thickness of 11.5 mm, enough to make it the thinnest 15-inch laptop on the market. Note also the presence of six speakers, a 1080p webcam and a fanless design to make it particularly quiet.
The 15-inch MacBook Air will be available for $1,299 in the United States. The French price has not yet been announced. There are also four colors: blue, gold, silver and black. The PC is available for pre-order today with deliveries expected as early as next week.
