Apple announces program for film and television directors

The Cupertino giant announced this week the unprecedented Apple Studios Directors Programdestined to directors film/television us united states. The idea is to identify “innovative and diverse” visionaries and give them “a front row seat” to Apple Studios productions, as well as networking opportunities.

The program will run for six months and will include classes focused on building and maintaining a career as a director. There will also be discussions with professionals with experience in the industry, as well as the possibility of participating as an “assistant director” in Maçã productions, creating a unique experience, which will take place at the Apple Park.

According to AppleInsider, three people will be chosen to participate in the 2023 edition and the most successful participants of the program will be able to direct studio content. Apple stressed that the initiative has a commitment to diversity, encouraging the registration of minorities, as well as remembering that the space will be dedicated to listening and valuing all voices.

Entries go from day February 23 until the day March 1st and can be done through the program’s website. It is worth remembering that Apple Studios is a subsidiary television production company of Apple; several of the Apple TV+ productions are made by other studios in partnership with Maçã.
