Apple announced to buy Tik Tok, what was the rate? You will also be shocked to know

The US is pressuring the Chinese technology company ‘Byte Dance’ to sell its popular video application ‘Tik Tok’.

US President Donald Trump threatened to sell Tik Tok to the American company by September 15, otherwise he will ban Tik Tok in the US on September 15 on the grounds of national security.

In this regard, Microsoft has shown interest in buying TikTok’s branches operating in a few countries, including the United States, and in this regard, its negotiations with Byte Dance were also confirmed in the past few days. Now a report said that the well-known company Apple is also interested in buying Tik Tok.

Bloomberg reporters said in tweets that the company says it is not in talks to buy TikTok and is not interested in a deal.

On the other hand, Fox Business said in its report that both Google and Facebook have shown interest in buying Tik Tok in the past and Tik Tok is receiving multiple offers.

There was no immediate response from Google and Facebook in this regard. This week, Microsoft has confirmed that CEO Satya Nadella is in talks with the US president and ByteDance.

According to the company’s statement, Microsoft is committed to conducting a full security review of its acquisition of TikTok and intends to provide appropriate economic benefits to the United States.

The negotiations with ByteDance will be completed by September 15, 2020, and if successful, Microsoft will buy the app’s operations in certain markets, including the US.

If successful, Microsoft will be responsible for running the service in the US as well as Canada, Australia and New Zealand, while ByteDance will run the operations of the app in other markets. It will be made that the private data of US citizens will be transferred to the US while local governments will also be offered security reviews.

The value of TikTok’s American branch is between 15 and 30 billion dollars, while in case of success, Microsoft will have the opportunity to step into the world of social networks once again.

It should be noted that in the month of June, a number of popular Chinese apps like WeChat, including Tik Tok, were also banned in India. The Indian government cited security risks and protection of user data as justification for banning these apps.
