Apple adds additional time to extend AppleCare+ after coverage expires

While many people renew their iPhone, Mac, iPad or other products after 1 or 2 years and resell the old one, some prefer to keep it longer. For these people, Apple
offers the extended warranty to provide cheaper repairs and various benefits. When coverage ends, customers had until today a period of 30 days to extend their AppleCare+ coverage, today Apple is increasing this period!

Change of course, AppleCare+ renewal goes to 45 days

Apple has just updated its AppleCare+ extended warranty service in France, the change adds greater flexibility to extend AppleCare+ coverage after it has expired. Customers now have 45 days, instead of the previously offered 30 days. This extension will allow users to avoid any interruption in service, even if they do not renew their AppleCare+ coverage immediately.

Users can extend their coverage for periods of 24 months, 36 months, or opt for a renewal on a monthly or annual basis.
