iOS 17 operating system bug

Apple denied that the problem was related to iPhone 15 Pro devices only. She said that the next fix for the system will not include slowing down the processor of the latest models.

The latest advanced device includes a titanium frame, the first of its kind for an iPhone, in addition to the A17 Pro chip with an enhanced graphics processor to improve gaming. Some researchers said these hardware changes may have contributed to the problem.

Hundreds of users on social media and Apple Support complained that the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone Pro Max 15 sometimes became unnaturally warm to the touch. Some users even posted photos of their device’s thermometer reading, showing results of over 100 F (38 C).

Apple did not mention when the iOS 17 software update would be available, or what version it would carry. Last week, the company launched the first beta version of iOS 17.1 for app developers. This version is scheduled to be released later in October.
