Vitamin B12 is an important vitamin for the human body as it supports many important processes in the body, and therefore its deficiency leads to a series of health problems.
Harvard Medical School has described a vitamin B12 deficiency as “disingenuous” and “harmful”. This is because the symptoms associated with this condition can appear out of nowhere. With some particularly frightening signs, like fainting, how does a vitamin B12 deficiency lead to this frightening sign?
“Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to disturbances in the nervous and circulatory systems,” said Dr. Ioannis Liakas, medical director at Vie Aesthetics.
