In Myanmar, numerous people were killed in an artillery attack on a refugee camp in the northern Kachin region, according to media reports. These include women, children and elderly people, local media and insiders reported on Tuesday. The incident occurred shortly before midnight on Monday, just a few kilometers from a Kachin Independence Army (KIA) military camp.
