App to auction Muslim women: Main accused woman, engineer arrested

Mumbai: Mumbai police have arrested a young woman and an engineer in connection with a hate campaign once morest Muslim women through a mobile app. The woman was arrested from Uttarakhand and civil engineer Vishal Kumar, 21, from Bangalore. The woman, who was arrested in Uttarakhand, will be produced in court, remanded in transit and taken to Mumbai, police said. Vishal Kumar and she became friends through Instagram. According to police, the woman was handling three accounts related to the Bullibhai app. Following the controversial Sulli Deals, there was another hate campaign once morest Muslim women in online auctions.
