App for Windows and macOS will be discontinued

Fitbit hat announced, that the classic Fitbit app for Windows and macOS will be discontinued on October 13. The following email has been sent to customers who are currently still using the app:

This also means that you no longer have the option to transfer music via playlists to the Fitbit devices (Versa, Versa 2 and Ionic models are affected) via the computer. However, Fitbit points out that you can still use Deezer – which of course requires a subscription. Music files that are still in the internal memory of the smartwatch following this date remain available.
