App Detail now synchronizes simultaneous recordings from two iPhones

We’ve been talking here for some time regarding the app Detaila video editor that uses artificial intelligence and that makes it easy to record and compose using images captured with both iPhone cameras at the same time. With the latest update, the app gained an even more interesting new feature, great for those who record from different angles.

As reflected by TechCrunch, the new thing is that it is now possible to make recordings with two iPhones or iPads at the same time, via a wireless connection. Detail therefore synchronizes the images and audio of the videos captured by the two devices. It is also possible to make use of the app’s editing features, choosing video display layouts, placing one on top of the other or on full screen, for example.

To capture audio, you can use both the iPhones/iPads’ own microphones and external microphones. Audio is captured locally on each device and then synced through the app. Several editing steps are thus greatly streamlined using Detail.

According to the company’s founder, Paul Veugen, the idea was to simplify the process of capturing images with more than one camera, something typically complicated. He also stated that podcasts, for example, do not need to be recorded during video calls, so the new feature should facilitate recordings of this type — including considering the app’s other functions.

According to Veugen, Detail should gain more features in the coming weeks, such as remote recording, automatic editing using AI (already available on Mac) and clips with highlights in the iOS app. The app is free to downloadwith a subscription that costs R$40 monthly or R$200 annually to release all resources.
