Giannu’s family was born in the European country of Greece and migrated to Australia. That is why he has dual citizenship. Having played for Greece and Australia in various age group competitions, Giannu has also worn the jersey for these two teams at the senior level. Alvaro Vasquez and Jorge Pereira Diaz, who were the spearheads of Kerala Blasters’ forward line last season, joined the team’s progress following leaving the club. He is good at scoring long rangers and lob shot goals. So Blasters fans hope that this player can fill the gap of Vasquez.
