IMPORTANT DATES
The next league tournament, Apertura 2023, will start on Friday, June 30 and stop on July 21 for the 18 Liga MX clubs to travel to the United States to participate in the first edition of the Leagues Cup.
The League has informed the teams of the dates, taking into account that as of Sunday, six teams will be eliminated and therefore they must already have the planning for what is to come.
The tournament will begin on June 30, but it will stop on July 21 and resume almost a month later, until August 19, the date on which the Leagues Cup Final is scheduled.
The teams that are eliminated in the early stages of the binational tournament will have to adjust their plans to stay active, before the Apertura 2023 resumes.
RIVALS
On June 11 in San Diego, California, the Mexican National Team will hold a friendly match for the Final Four. At the moment the rival has not been confirmed, but in California it is assured that it might be Iceland or, failing that, Ecuador in case the European team falls.
The National Team has not played in San Diego for a while, so it was decided to choose that city for the match, in which Diego Cocca will be able to count on the European players for the Final Four and the Gold Cup.
