Aoun’s words did not make Dahiya happy: He moved to form

In the wake of President Michel Aoun’s press statements yesterday, in which he asserted that he would not leave Baabda Palace unless October 31 was a “normal day,” meaning that it is likely that the political situation does not carry coup plots that lead to a change in the Lebanese regime by attacking the Lebanese regime. Powers of the President of the Republic by an incomplete government… The President-designate Najib Mikati expressed a desire to authorize, but at the same time he aimed at the presidential team.

Yesterday, he affirmed his continuation in all efforts aimed at forming the new government, and what is required in return is to keep pace with these efforts by all concerned, and not to continue to set conditions and obstacles, in a clear attempt to achieve political gains that are not premature and cannot be accepted. “Let us all cooperate to solve the government file in a way that helps establish more political stability and avoid useless debates, especially since the constitution is clear in all files, and there is no place for ijtihad in the text,” he said.

What the president-designate said constitutes, according to what well-informed political sources tell Al Markaziya, the clearest evidence that the government’s negative opposition is still unchanged. The presidential team wants to add 6 ministers to the current Mikati government, which is what Aoun renewed his demand for yesterday, while Mikati rejects this step, which in his opinion will complicate the task of formation, as it will make ministerial work more difficult since every minister will think of himself as President of the Republic during the vacancy period. This is what Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri warned of.. Until now, the man does not seem to be in the process of retreating and offering free gifts to the covenant, especially since it is in its last days and that he is now a caretaker prime minister, if whatever happens.

In the midst of this sharp line-up, the sources reveal that in the past hours, Hezbollah has resumed its contacts to open a gap in the thick wall of the formation. The party, knowing that the life of the vacancy will be prolonged, insists on forming in light of the deteriorating living conditions. Aoun threatened to stay in the palace if the government was not fully empowered, he did not relieve the suburb before anyone else, and in the coming days it will make its efforts to try to bring the distances between Baabda and Mirna Al-Shalouhi on the one hand, and the Serail on the other hand.

In any case, a member of the party’s Central Council, Sheikh Nabil Qaouk, confirmed at the beginning of the week that the party does not stand as a “government” spectator. He said, “People are waiting for concrete solutions and remedies to the current crisis, and we cannot approach these tangible remedies without forming a government with full powers and descriptions, and this is what requires those concerned to expedite its formation, or to give confidence to the current government at a minimum, and Hezbollah is not in the position of a bystander, but rather He works, accompanies and helps to overcome obstacles in order to speed up the formation, and we hope that a new government will be formed or confidence will be given to the current government before the end of this month.”

The party fears the wrath of its people following the economic and material hardship has become suffocating, and it will spare no effort to try to complete the formation before October 31 by finding a compromise formula that satisfies the Covenant and its ally, the head of the Free Patriotic Movement, MP Gibran Bassil, and Mikati at the same time. However, his success is not guaranteed unless he presents Bassil with a very valuable gift that will persuade him to give up holding the blocking third in the government. What else, Lebanon is going towards scenarios, the sweetest of which passed following the end of President Aoun’s term, the sources conclude.
