Bar tenor Hervé Temime died on April 10, 2023, at the age of 65. The announcement was made by Justice Minister Eric Dupond-Moretti, who hailed the memory of a “ huge avocado ” having “ marked a whole generation by his intelligence, his humanity and his talent ».

Since then, the causes of the lawyer’s death have been revealed, although two different terms are mentioned by the national press. The criminal lawyer is said to have died following an aortic dissection and a cerebrovascular accident (CVA). Other sources rather evoke an aneurysm of the aorta.

On February 24, during the funeral of lawyer Pierre Haïk, Hervé Temime was takena sharp pain in the heart, resulting in his hospitalization in Paris. In addition to an aortic aneurysm, doctors diagnose a stroke. The 65-year-old man was then plunged into a coma. Hervé Temime was thus hospitalized for several weeks in a Parisian hospital, with the utmost discretion.

L’aortic aneurysm is a localized dilation of the aorta, the major risk of this condition being the rupture of the aneurysm. As for aortic dissection, a serious lesion of the aorta, which, let us remember, is the largest artery in the body, it leads to hemorrhage and constitutes a vital emergency.

On its website, the Center hospitalier universitaire vaudois (Lausanne, Switzerland) specifies that aortic dissection is “ often linked to severe hypertension that is not adequately treated or that results from a birth defect “. Relatively rare, it requires immediate diagnosis and treatment. Stroke refers to the blockage or rupture of a blood vessel in the brain, and is also an absolute medical emergency. In the case of lawyer Hervé Temime, rapid treatment was unfortunately not enough to save him from these various cardiovascular pathologies.
