The Socio-Political Movement Socialist Revolutionary Unit (URS) of the state of Anzoátegui remains deployed after the presidential elections on July 28, to reaffirm its commitment to the Bolivarian project.
José Granadino, president of the organization, stated that together with the state leadership made up of Alirio Rojas, Amado Torres and Luis Brito; as well as with militancy in general, they ratify the results announced by the National Electoral Council (CNE) and the subsequent pronouncement of the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), which give Nicolás Maduro as the winner.
“It is the only one that guarantees peace in Venezuela, economic recovery and social stability. In that sense, we have been participating in assemblies in the different sectors of the Simón Bolívar municipality, emphasizing that on January 10 we will be there, like the vast majority of the Venezuelan people, swearing in alongside our constitutional president, Nicolás Maduro Moros. ”.

Likewise, Granadino commented that they have been participating in the public consultations that are carried out at the initiative of the National Assembly (AN), for the reform of the laws that govern electoral processes.
“All with the intention of shielding that electoral sector, with the intention that those who call for invasions, those who ask for economic sanctions, those who threaten the stability of the country and those who betray the country never again aspire to a popularly elected position. Likewise, from URS we have been participating in the consultations that have been carried out for the modification and approval of the laws that govern the development and strengthening of popular power in Venezuela,” he mentioned.
Granadino added that they are deployed under the guidance of the political leader in the municipality, Sugey Herrera, as well as Governor Luis Marcano, who direct the transformation process called by President Nicolás Maduro.

**Interview with José Granadino, President of the Socialist Revolutionary Unit (URS)**
**Editor:** Thank you for joining us today, José. In light of the recent presidential elections on July 28, can you share what activities the URS has been involved in to support electoral results?
**José Granadino:** Thank you for having me. Following the elections, our team has been actively participating in various activities aimed at reaffirming our commitment to the Bolivarian project. We believe it is essential to ensure that the electoral results reflect the will of the people, and we are engaging in public consultations and community outreach to uphold that belief.
**Editor:** That’s interesting. Could you elaborate on how the URS is facilitating these public consultations and what the response from the community has been?
**José Granadino:** Absolutely. We are organizing meetings across Anzoátegui where we encourage feedback from the community on the electoral process and the outcomes. The response has been positive; people are eager to voice their opinions and concerns. We want to ensure that their voices are heard and that they feel a part of the democratic process.
**Editor:** Given the political tensions surrounding Nicolás Maduro’s presidency and the opposition’s declaration of invalid election results in 2018, how does the URS navigate these challenges?
**José Granadino:** It is indeed a challenging political landscape. However, our approach is grounded in dialogue and consensus-building. We focus on reaffirming support for the Bolivarian project while also acknowledging the need for constructive conversations around the existing challenges. Our goal is to promote unity among the Venezuelan people and to work toward a better future.
**Editor:** Thank you for your insights, José. what would you say is the primary message you wish to convey to the people regarding the URS’s role moving forward?
**José Granadino:** Our primary message is one of resilience and commitment. We stand firm in our beliefs and will continue to advocate for the values of the Bolivarian Revolution. We want the people to know that we are here to support them and ensure that their voices shape the future of our country. Together, we can overcome the obstacles we face.
**Editor:** Thank you, José, for sharing your thoughts with us today. We appreciate your time and dedication to the community.
**José Granadino:** Thank you for having me. It’s always a pleasure to speak about our work and the importance of community engagement.
