Algerian television quoted the Ministry of Energy as saying, today, Wednesday, that any change of destination Algerian gas Exporting to Spain might lead to the termination of the contract between national energy company Sonatrach and Spanish buyers.

The statement stated that the start of this process will take place today or tomorrow, according to the minister.
Sonatrach had announced on April 2, 2022, that it did not rule out an “review” of the price of gas exported to Spain, in the context of diplomatic tension between Algeria and Madrid over the Western Sahara issue.
