Manjuchechi will see that tension
I didn’t know anything when I came to act in my first film. No idea. Fahadhika was a good support in my first film – says Anu in an interview with Sri India Glitz. I wanted to come to cinema through Lal Jose sir’s film. If a film fails, there is no overthinking. It happens to people in my position. We will make the film and get paid, won’t we? If the temple becomes Bharatamba
If you become Bharatamba in the temple, then you will be caught and made a Sanghi. I really don’t know anything regarding politics. Now even if you ask regarding the ministers, I don’t know anything. I know Ganesha. I like Shafi Parambil MLA. So I know nothing regarding politics except to know some names. And talking regarding saying ABVP and RSS, I am a Hindu and am associated with temple programs because my house is near temple.
Before that I was active
An annadana in the temple, or the rakhi tying ceremony is sometimes done by the ABVP brothers. That is why it comes in these steps and so on. If it was done by those who were leaning towards the Congress then it would have happened. If it was people with a communist background I would have been into it. It is only because what we are doing there is ABVP. That’s the problem. And before becoming Bharatamba, we are Krishna and Radha – said Anu.
I was not a film actress then
At the time when Rugminiswayam Varam was coming, everything was going on like Kannan, getting ready and getting married. But I was not a film actress then. No one had a problem then. I did it because of what politics there was then. It is seen only as a part of our temple. If I want to be Bharatamba in the temple, then I will be Krishna. I didn’t do it as people say. Even now, if I am free for a matter of my temple, I will surely do it. I have no politics – Anushree clarified.
