In a unique ​initiative to raise awareness about Tuberculosis ‍(TB), Members of Parliament (MPs) ⁣engaged in a friendly cricket match on Sunday, aptly named the ‘TB ​Free ⁣India Awareness Cricket Match’.⁢ Leading their respective teams,‍ former Union Minister and MP​ Anurag Singh Thakur captained the Lok ⁤Sabha‌ Speaker XI, while ‍Union Minister⁣ Kiren Rijiju helmed the⁢ Rajya​ Sabha Chairman XI.

Mr ‌Thakur⁣ demonstrated impressive leadership both on and off the field, delivering an unbeaten 111 runs and securing ‌a decisive 73-run victory ‌for his ⁤team. This resounding ‍triumph served as a powerful ​metaphor for IndiaS battle against TB.
