Antonis Skiathas on the new temporary board of the Hellenic Book and Culture Foundation

The new, temporary, Board of Directors of the Hellenic Book and Culture Foundation (ELIVIP) was announced by the Ministry of Culture.

President of the temporary Board of Directors of the Hellenic Foundation for Books and Culture – ELIVIP (N.P.I.D. supervised by the Ministry of Education and Culture) the Author and Professor Emeritus of Panteion University, Nikolaos Bakunakis, was appointed, while in the position of Vice-President, the Communication, Media and Culture Researcher , Panagiotis Kapos.

Among the members of the temporary board we find the well-known poet Antonis Skiathas, who was proposed by the professional organizations of writers and translators.

Specifically, the members of the temporary Board of Directors are:

1. Dimitrios Kourkoulas of Konstantinou, ex-Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, former Ambassador of the European Union, selected by the Minister of Culture

2.Georgios Mouroutis of Nikolaou, Publisher, selected by the Minister of Culture

3. Ioanna Tsivakou of Vassiliou, Professor Emeritus of Panteion University, selected by the Minister of Culture

4. Panagiotis Chinis tou Evangelos, Lawyer, selected by the Minister of Culture

5. Nikolaos Karapidakis of Emmanuel, Professor of Medieval History at the Ionian University, nominated by the Minister of Education, Religion and Sports

6. Olga Kliamaki of Anastasiou, Director of the E3 Directorate of Educational, Cultural and Sports Affairs, Minister Plenipotentiary II, nominated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs

7. Athanasia (Sissy) Papathanassiou of Athanassiou, Head of the Department of Letters of the General Directorate of Modern Culture

8. Chrysa Nikolaou of Eleftheriou, Director General of the E.B.E., nominated by the National Library of Greece

9. Argyrios Kastaniotis of Athanasios, Publisher, nominated by the publishers’ professional bodies

10. Antonios Skiathas of Dimitriou, Poet, nominated by the professional bodies of writers and translators
