Controversial wide receiver Antonio Brown would like to play for the Baltimore Ravens next. The reason: Quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Antonio Brown is positioning himself for another NFL engagement following his inglorious departure with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. in the I Am Athlete Podcast he was now asked which quarterback he would like to play with next. His answer: “Lamar Jackson”.
Brown justified the statement by saying that Jackson was a “great” quarterback and a “dynamic playmaker”.
Jackson himself does not seem to be averse to this personality and retweeted a corresponding video recording of the podcast an emoji on Twitter.
What the Ravens think of this idea as an organization is unclear. However, there is a connection to the team for AB – his cousin Marquise Brown has been a wide receiver for the Ravens since 2020. And he’s been training with AB since college offseason.
“Hollywood” Brown had words of praise for the former Pittsburgh Steelers player before his rookie season: “AB is a guy who brings out the best in you,” Brown told PennLive.com. “I feel like he might fit into this dressing room. He’s a competitor. He goes out there and gives you 100 percent. And that would make other guys do the same.”
