It has been almost 72 hours since the end of the Copa América, where the Argentine national team was crowned two-time champion of the continent following beating Colombia 1-0 in extra time.
Despite the euphoria of winning the title, many Albiceleste fans were unable to fully enjoy it as captain Lionel Messi set off alarm bells when he was injured with an ankle injury.

Inter Miami, the team where Messi plays in the MLS, has already shared a medical report on its captain and hinted that what he suffered was a ligament injury, so will be on sick leave and his progress will determine how long he will remain on sick leave.
“The captain’s availability will be determined through parody evaluations and the progress of his recovery,” Inter Miami said in a statement.
