Antidote 11 v4 is even stronger.

Druide informatics, the company that publishes the Antidote corrector, has launched free updates for its entire range. These upgrades improve the French and English correctors, enrich the dictionaries and offer several new features on each platform. In addition, Antidote 11 v4 now offers French neologisms!

Antidote 11 v4 offers faster and more precise correction thanks to the refinements of its analyzers. The dictionaries have also been enriched: 1,000 new words and phrases in French and 3,100 new words in English have been added, as well as thousands of pronunciations, synonyms and translations for users of both languages, according to a press release.

Improved integration

The update also fixes messages in the macOS Messages app and improves integration with apps like LibreOffice, Thunderbird, MS Teams, and filters for LaTeX and Markdown formats.

Antidote Web inherits the new features of version 11 v4 and adds new features. Video capsules make it easier to get started with the application, and it is now possible to synchronize personal settings with those of Antidote 11.

Update and Upgrade

Antidote 11 for Windows or Mac will automatically offer the download of the update, while the App Store will do the same for Antidote Mobile. Antidote Web is already updated. Owners of an edition prior to Antidote 11 can upgrade their software at www.antidote.info.

In collaboration with the Office québécois de la langue française (OQLF), Antidote 11 v4 highlights the neologisms suggested as equivalents of foreign terms, generally coming from English. Antidote’s corrector and dictionaries will now suggest the neologisms proposed by the OQLF as equivalents of emerging foreign terms, according to this second text.
