On the other hand, Muslim scholar Muhammad Arif said that in a meeting everyone agreed to keep the voice down. There is no harm in this, but the noise is not from the call to prayer, but from weddings, singing, car horns etc.
The Muslim scholar further said that the police apply this law only to mosques and leave others alone. We will fill the bill and not make it an ego issue of turning down the loudspeaker volume.
