This couple comes from Hérault. They will be open six days a week.
When the former bakers (the Ulrich family) announced to the mayor and his municipal council their inability to continue their activity, as soon as the news spread, desolation fell on the village. Also, when, very recently, the mayor Jean-Claude Pistre announced, all smiles, to the inhabitants, that he had an appointment with the notary with the new bakers, the faces lit up.
Anthony and his companion Héléna, like good Southerners, welcome visitors with undisguised pleasure. Accompanied by their three daughters (Jade, Ambre and Océane), they arrive from neighboring Hérault where they have spent a good part of their lives. Anthony started at the age of 14 in the business. After obtaining his CAP, he went to train through Florensac, Pinet… to complete his professional career in bakery-pastry in Murviel-lès-Béziers. With one voice, with shared enthusiasm, the new bakers fell in love when they discovered the announcement of the resumption of business issued by the town hall.
“ The announcement seduced us, the professional premises reassured us, the reception of the mayor convinced us. We said yes to this opportunity “. Since then, things have gone well to be able to respond as quickly as possible to the expectations of the already somewhat orphaned Arzenais.
The opening of the bakery is scheduled for Friday February 24. But what will we find in the new Aux Saveurs d’Arzens bakery? ?
“Finding the taste of bread”
“ A bit of everything… but only good things ! “, laughs Anthony. “ We can do everything. We know how to do what is done everywhere… But we think that the people of Arzen will rediscover the taste of bread with the Arzens baguette. You tell me the news… “
All kinds of bread will be offered daily (classic, cereal, wholemeal, with chia seeds, country, rustic balls, etc.).
In baking, every day, the essentials : éclairs, apple pies, millefeuilles, pine nut pies… will adorn the stalls. On weekends, the essentials will be available to gourmands and gourmets (chantilly cakes, Paris-Brest, Saint-Honoré, etc.).
The bakery will be open every day from Tuesday to Sunday, in the morning from 6 h 30 to 12 h 30 and the followingnoon of 16 h 30 to 19 h 30. Closed Sunday followingnoon and all day Monday.
Saturday February 25, in this village where life is good (according to the mayor), all day the official inauguration of the business will take place in the presence of the mayor and his municipal council.
