The next ANSES Scientific Meetings on the restitution of the National Environmental and Occupational Health Research Program (PNR EST) will be organized for the first time in partnership with the National Cancer Institute (INCa) and the Multi-Organization Thematic Institute Cancer ( ITMO Cancer) of the National Alliance for Life and Health Sciences (Aviesan).
Cancers are a major public health issue: in metropolitan France, the number of new cases of cancer (incidence) is estimated at 400,000 cases in 2017, some of which are associated with exposure to factors from the general environment or professional.
In this context, ANSES and ITMO Cancer have placed this subject among the priorities of the PNR EST, while INCa funds research projects on other risk factors such as genetic factors, the development of innovative tools screening, patient care, etc.
On the occasion of the Scientific Meetings on October 2, the advances made in this field and the results obtained by a dozen research projects will be presented.
Registrations are closed but remain possible on the day of the event with our hostesses depending on the places available.
