How to take animals into account to deal with health issues? Our agency defends a “One health-one health” approach to better respond to this complex challenge.

Whether they are researchers, specialists in risk assessment or veterinary medicinal products, many scientists will be present on our stand to discuss all issues relating to animal health. They will share their knowledge of the complex interactions between the animal world and humans.

On the program, various subjects that concern us all: emergence of worrying zoonoses such as avian influenza, circulation of viruses and bacteria between animals and humans, in particular through interactions between wildlife and livestock, diseases transmitted by ticks and mosquitoes, animal welfare, proper use of veterinary drugs, resistance to antibiotics, etc.

We therefore give you an appointment from February 25 to March 5, 2023 ! Thanks to the activities offered, you will also have the opportunity to discover how to act in favor of animal health and our health.

On the program on our stand this year

  • The quiz “How to take care of your pet?” »
  • A workshop to get to know ticks better, learn how to protect yourself from their bites and the diseases they can transmit.
  • Meetings with our specialists in animal diseases, vector insects, breeding practices or even veterinary drugs.
  • The discovery of the mobile game “Agent all risks”: slip into the shoes of a scientist confronted with a new and worrying animal disease.
  • A recruitment space for finding out regarding jobs and careers at ANSES.
