The consolidated turnover of the National Ports Agency (ANP) amounted to 1.7 billion dirhams for the first nine months of this year 2022, up 6.8% compared to the same period of 2021.

This development is mainly explained by the increase in the turnover of the ANP (1.8% to 1.54 billion dirhams) and the effect of the resumption of activity by the Société de Gestion du port de Tanger-Ville (SGPTV) in April 2022, following a cessation of activity in due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

For the third quarter, consolidated sales amounted to 548 million dirhams (MDH), an improvement of 14.6% compared to Q3-2021.

In addition, the activity of the ports managed by the ANP reached a traffic level of 22 million tonnes in Q3-2022, i.e. a slight decrease of 1.6% compared to the same period of 2021, thus making it possible to generate a quarterly turnover of 466 MDH, up 3.5% compared to Q3-2021.

With regard to the investments made, they reached 157 MDH, down compared to the investments relating to the same period of 2021 (199 MDH).
