The unsafety that hits the daily Conurbano He showed his worst face once more, this time in Ezeizawith the murder of a sergeant of the Buenos Aires Police, shot by two criminals who wanted to steal the truck in which he was waiting for two other colleagues from that force.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday when Leandro Lezcano27 years old, who worked at the Departmental Directorate of Investigations (DDI) of Ezeiza, I was in a Police Hilux although without plots, on the corner of Buenos Aires and Gaddini streets, in the town of Tristán Suárez. He was waiting there, with the lights on, for two other members of the same DDI who had gone to buy a pizza, when a Chevrolet Aveo passed by, stopping a little further ahead and from which two armed men got out. The subjects pointed their weapons at Lezcano, ordering him to get out to take the Hilux, and when the police officer threatened to resist, they shot him at point-blank range and fled, without completing the robbery.
A video from a security camera from a house on the opposite sidewalk managed to record the moment in which the thieves get out of the Chevrolet, threaten Lezcano and shoot him, immediately fleeing to his car to escape:
Lezcano was seriously injured, his companions immediately ran there, and although he was rushed to a healthcare center in the area, he arrived lifeless and the doctors might only confirm his death.

Suddenly, two men surprised the 27-year-old with the intention of robbing him. However, according to the first hypotheses of the investigation, the criminals would have seen the service weapon or some identification from the Buenos Aires police and shot him “at point blank range.” After the shot, the criminals fled aboard a blue Chevrolet Aveo.
In the video from the nearby security camera, you can see the murderers, one in a blue jacket and the other in an embroidered jacket, shooting Lezcano inside the truck, mortally wounding him. The subjects are intensively searched by the Buenos Aires Police, and other cameras in the area are also being searched, to have more details of the vehicle in which they were moving and where they went following the crime.
