Juarez City.- Another inmate of those who escaped on January 1 from the Social Reintegration Center (Cereso) 3 of this border was captured, indicated the Secretary of State Public Security (SSPE).
Through a statement, the corporation indicated that the detainee is José Osvaldo EN, 27 years old, located in possession of a Glock model 22 .40-caliber firearm with a magazine stocked with 14 useful cartridges of the same caliber. .
The text added that the location was carried out in an operation in which officers from the North Zone State Police and the special SWAT and Detective groups participated.
“The subject, upon noticing the operation, chose to flee from the SSPE units and entered several houses in the Cerradas de Oriente neighborhood Stage 2, for which the tactical drones were deployed and air patrol was provided by the helicopter Águila 2”, indicated the bulletin.
“SSPE personnel searched several homes and also installed a device around the neighborhood to prevent the subject from evading security officers. Search maneuvers were carried out for several minutes and finally, in the Provincia Coripe and Provincia Bilbao streets, the subject was found inside a public transport bus, ”he added.
The detainee and the firearm were transferred to the headquarters in Ciudad Juárez of the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) to carry out the corresponding provision before the agent of the Public Ministry.
Of the 30 inmates who escaped from Cereso 3 on January 1, five have been recaptured and another four are already dead, according to the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE).
There are still 21 people deprived of liberty who escaped to be recaptured, who are wanted by authorities of the three levels of Government, in addition to the fact that there is a reward that goes from 300 thousand pesos to 5 million pesos.
