The weather forecast for today
In western and central Macedonia, Thessaly, Sporades, eastern Sterea and Evia, clouds temporarily increased with light local rains mainly in western Macedonia and northern Thessaly. In the west a few clouds temporarily increased with local rains in the early morning hours mainly in the marine parts of the southern Ionian. In the rest of the mainland and the rest of the island country, generally open air weatherwith a few local clouds in Crete.
Winds will blow in the west east southeast 3 to 5 Beaufort and in the South Ionian locally 6 Beaufort. In the east they will blow from north directions 4 to 6 and in the Aegean locally 7, temporarily in the south until noon to 8 Beaufort.
The temperature will drop slightly mainly in the central and southern regions and it will reach 18 to 20 degrees in the north, 20 to 22 degrees in the central areas and 23 degrees in the regions, 22 to 24 degrees Celsius in the rest of the mainland and the island country. In southern Crete and the Dodecanese it will locally reach 24 to 25 degrees Celsius.
MACEDONIA, THRACE
- Weather: In western and central Macedonia, temporarily increased clouds with light local rains in the morning hours mainly in western Macedonia. In eastern Macedonia and Thrace generally open air.
- Winds: From east directions 3 to 5 and in the east local 6 Beaufort.
- Temperature: From 10 to 20 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia it will be 3 to 4 degrees lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS
- Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased with local rains in the early morning hours mainly in the maritime parts of the southern Ionian.
- Winds: East southeast 3 to 5 and in the south local 6 Beaufort.
- Temperature: From 14 to 24 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus the minimum will be 3 to 4 degrees lower.
EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNISOS
- Weather: In the eastern Peloponnese, clouds temporarily increased and from the midday hours generally clear. In the rest of the areas, clouds temporarily increased with a few light local rains.

CYCLADES, CRETE

EAST AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANISE
- Weather: Generally sunny with a few local clouds in the morning hours.
- Winds: From northern addresses 5 to 7 and in the central and southern local 8 Beaufort. Gradual weakening from noon.
- Temperature: From 18 to 23 to 25 degrees Celsius. In the north 2 to 4 degrees lower.
THESSALY
- Weather: Clouds at times increasing with light local rain in northern parts until midday.
- Winds: East Northeast 3 to 4 and in the Sporades 5 to 6 Beaufort. Gradual weakening from noon
- Temperature: From 12 to 22 degrees Celsius and in the Sporades from 15 to 19 to 20 degrees Celsius.
ATTICA
- Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased. From noon generally clear.
- Winds: North northeast 5 to 6 and in the east local 7 Beaufort. Gradual weakening from noon.

In the Ionian and continental regions (except eastern Macedonia and Thrace) increased cloudiness with local rains and in the Ionian mainly in the north, isolated storms will occur. Winds will blow in the west east southeast 5 to 6, in the Ionian 7 locally 8 Beaufort with gradual weakening from noon to the north. In the east, north northeast winds will blow 4 to 6 and in the Aegean locally 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will not change appreciably.
The weather on Monday 21/10
In the eastern parts of Thessaly, the Sporades, Evia, eastern Sterea, eastern Peloponnese and Crete, increased clouds with light local rain in Evia and the Sporades with gradual improvement from midday. In the west, sparse clouds temporarily thicker. In the rest of the country generally clear weather.
Winds will blow in the west from easterly directions 3 to 5 and in the southern Ionian 6 locally 7 Beaufort. In the east, north northeast winds will blow 4 to 6 and in the Aegean up to 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will not change appreciably.
The forecast for Tuesday 22/10
In the eastern parts of Thessaly, the Sporades, Evia, eastern Sterea, eastern Peloponnese and Crete, clouds temporarily increased until the midday hours.
In the rest of the country, almost clear weather with sparse clouds and denser ones at intervals.
Winds will blow in the west from easterly directions 3 to 5 and in the southern Ionian to 6 Beaufort with rapid weakening. In the east, winds will blow from north directions 4 to 6 and in the Aegean locally 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly.
