The Iranian news agency “Tasnim” reported that there was an armed attack on two Iranian police vehicles in Soran Mahrestan, as a result of which at least six policemen were killed.
The agency said with reference to informed sources that 6 policemen have been killed in the Jaish-ul-Adl attack.
According to the news, two police cars were attacked by “terrorists” on Soran Mahrestan Road in Sistan and Baluchistan province and several police personnel were killed and injured in this attack.
Shortly therefollowing, Tasnim Agency published new details regarding the attack and said that police were transporting the main suspect in the murder of officer Hussain Ali Shibak when their convoy came under armed attack.
On April 4, the militant group also claimed responsibility for two attacks on a IRGC base in Rask city and a police station in Chabahar, Sistan-Baluchistan.
According to the figures released by the authorities, 16 policemen and 18 attackers were killed in these attacks.
