According to the “National Post” (National Post) report, the Canadian government issued a statement stating that TikTok must be removed from government-issued electronic devices starting on the 28th. There are “unacceptable risks” in the security part, but the statement also emphasized that no government information has been leaked because of TikTok.

As for the Japanese part, Japanese media sources pointed out that Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Hiroichi Matsuno also said yesterday (27th) that in view of the European Commission’s order on the 23rd to prohibit employees from downloading TikTok on official devices, Japan also intends to follow up and restrict some official devices. Downloading of TikTok is prohibited.
