Another 61 vulnerable families in Central gained access to their own homes

Asuncion, IP Agency.– A total of 61 families from the Central department received the keys to their new homes from the Minister of Urban Development, Housing, Habitat (MUVH), Juan Carlos Baruja, through the Fonavis housing subsidy program for families in vulnerable situations.

The homes delivered are part of the projects carried out through the Pro Housing Neighborhood Commission La Conquista 4 Base 1, La Lolita (Ñemby), where 12 homes were built, the Divino Niño Jesús Commission (Ypané), with 13 homes and the Neighborhood Commissions “Renacer III” and “Los Laureles I”, of the Costa Fleytas Company (Areguá), with
36 homes.

Each home has two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and dining room, a bathroom and an external laundry room and is built with nationally produced ceramic materials.

The construction of these homes took place within the framework of the National Social Housing Fund (Fonavis), with a total investment of Gs. 5,758,491,035, resources that generated the revitalization of the economy through the creation of sources of work for the inhabitants of the benefited communities.

Fonavis is a program that provides housing subsidies to vulnerable families who require social housing that will allow them to have a better quality of life. The program seeks to generate a great social impact by providing a solution to the problem of the housing deficit in Paraguay.
