Accordingly, candidates are no longer allowed to bring audio and video recording devices into the exam room, only pens, pencils, compasses, erasers, rulers, pocket calculators without text editing functions and Atlat Geography of Vietnam (when taking the Geography exam).

Candidates are also not allowed to leave the test area following two-thirds of the test time is up, but stay in the waiting room for the rest of the time.

Another new feature is that this year candidates can register for the exam online, in addition to registering directly at the school.

On March 1, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the reference exam for high school graduation exams. According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Quality Management Department, Ministry of Education and Training, sample exam questions were announced earlier than last year so that students might have a stable exam preparation schedule. “This year, the Ministry announced it at the beginning of March, instead of the end of March like last year so that students can study with peace of mind,” said Mr. Chuong.

According to Mr. Chuong, the orientation of the ministry’s exam questions remains the same as in 2022, the exam content is in the high school curriculum, mainly grade 12.
