Today, in the second district of the North (Tripoli, Denniye and Minieh) announced the formation of a list of “people”, following a meeting held in the residence of candidate Karim Kabbara in Tripoli, in the presence of its members.
The list for the Sunni seat in Tripoli includes: Karim Kabbara, Elissar Yassin Haddad, Heeb Tatar, Jalal Al-Baqar and Afra Eid.
For the upper seat: Representative Ali Darwish.
For the Maronite seat: Suleiman Obeid.
About the Orthodox seat: Caesar Khalat.
About the Sunni seat in Miniyeh: Kazem al-Khair.
About the two Sunnis in Al-Dinniyeh: Baraa Harmoush and Ali Abdel Aziz.
The members of the list discussed the general conditions, the suffering of people and the crises that surround them from all sides, and stressed “the need to stay away from empty slogans and ringing promises, and to search for practical solutions to urgent problems that would restore a decent life for citizens.”
The members of the list stressed that they “are far from the narrow and provocative political and partisan alignments,” stressing that “Lebanon in general, and Tripoli, Miniyeh and al-Dinniyeh in particular, need to combine all the good national efforts to alleviate the burdens on people, and to stay away from populism and bidding that beg for people’s pain. To achieve gains here or interests there, therefore, their candidacy for the “people” list aims to form a harmonious working group that stems from the confidence of the people of this deprived circle to press for the service of his family and people.
