attacked with missiles and invaded Gaza territory in a surprise attack. 3,000 missiles were launched against Israel and raids on vehicles transported into its territory were added. The invaders attacked military bases and massacred civilians in neighboring Israeli communities. According to Israeli officials, at least 364 Israeli civilians were massacred at a music festival and several hundred were injured. Nearly 200 people were kidnapped. Since that date, the Gaza War began and in one year it led to the deaths of at least 41,615 people, the vast majority of them civilians, including 16,500 children.
Football: 1993 (31 years) MARADONA DAY. Theater: 1939 (54 years) Enrique Pinti Born in Buenos Aires. The actor and comedian starred in the café concert of the 70s. His show Salsa Criolla, premiered at the Teatro Liceo in 1984, ran for ten years. He also appeared in cinema, in films such as Waiting for the Float and Lost for Lost.
Literature: 2010 (14 years) The Swedish Academy awards the Nobel Prize in Literature to the Peruvian Mario Vargas Llosa. He is the first writer in the Spanish language to receive the award in twenty years and the sixth Latin American to obtain it. The author of Conversation in the Cathedral, The War at the End of the World and The Festival of the Goat, is 74 years old at the time of receiving the Nobel Prize and in political matters he exposes neoliberal ideas.
Series: 1960 (64 years). The first episode of “Ruta 66” on the US signal CBS. A great success that catapulted actor George Maharis and Martin Millner to international fame. The series followed the journey of two young men, Tod Stiles and Buz Murdock, who crossed the United States in a Chevrolet Corvette convertible car, and the events and consequences surrounding their travels, living a different story in a different place, in each episode.
