The community of castlebar mourns the passing of Annette casey (née Kennedy), a beloved resident of woodville house, St. Patrick’s Academy in islandeady, Co. Mayo. Annette peacefully departed this life at Cuan Chaitriona Nursing Home on a date yet too be specified. A native of Boyle, Co. Roscommon, Annette was predeceased by her husband Stephen, her mother Pauline, and her sister Maura. Annette leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is deeply regretted by her loving sons, Damien (Westport) and Simon (Islandeady), along with Damien’s partner Ciara. her grandchildren, William and Sarah, will forever hold their grandmother close to their hearts.Annette will also be deeply missed by her cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends, including her past pupils at St. Patrick’s Academy. “Rest in peace Annette,” a sentiment shared by all who knew and loved her. Annette will repose at the Coady Funeral Home in Castlebar on Monday evening from 5.30pm until 7pm. Following this, she will be removed to The Church of The Holy Rosary in Castlebar. A Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday at 11 o’clock, followed by a private burial. In respecting the family’s wishes, the house will remain strictly private. Family flowers only, please.
